This Maynard Woodard,  post and beam house, had originally been photographed by Julius Schulman and published in HOUSE & GARDEN in 1955, and included in the Taschen book, MODERNISM REDISCOVERED. Some misguided renovations in the 1980's resulted in a confusing layout and unattractive finishes.

A comprehensicve renovation restored the clarity and intention of the original design, cleverly upgraded with modern day functionality. Tyreus served as architect for the remodel, in coordination with Sarah Waler Interiors.
