Tyreus Design is based in Sausalito, CA, and was founded by Christie Tyreus, AIA in 2008. The firm’s close-knit design team is comprised of individuals with expertise in the fields of building design, furniture, industrial design, and textiles.
Christie Tyreus has over twenty years of experience renovating residential and commercial properties in California. Prior to starting her own design studio, she worked for several award-winning architecture firms, including STUDIOS Architecture in San Francisco and Onion Flats in Philadelphia. Her design background has both traditional and modern influences, having received a Master’s degree in Architecture from UCLA and a B.S. in Architecture from The University of Virginia. Christie taught architecture studio for several years at Philadelphia University, has lectured on sustainable design and construction methodologies, and has published work in Architectural Record.NCARB Certified (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards)

Nataly Karavay
Interior Designer
After running a successful interior design firm in Moscow, developing residential and hospitality projects, Nataly headed west to attend the Burning Man festival, and never left California. Nataly brings an international design eye to our interiors and always pushes us to think out of the box.
Arielle Blankroth
Director of Project Development
Arielle has worked in operations and project management for most of her career. She dedicates her hours to the organizational structure that the firm runs on and lending a hand navigating the bureaucratic waters of the permitting process of the firm’s remarkable projects. Previously she worked as a vertical transportation consultant where she first fell in love with the architecture and design world.
Nelson del Campo
As-Built Surveyor & Production
With over two decades of experience in computer-assisted design and drafting, Nelson is responsible for surveying existing structures and producing all as-built plans to support the design process.
