Meet Our Founding Principal
Christie Tyreus
A licensed architect in both Colorado and California, Christie Tyreus passion for building and design started as a child in the__________. “QOUTE HERE” has working as a professional architect for over 25 years.
Prior to starting TAD (in 2011), Tyreus worked for several architecture firms, including the internationally-recognized STUDIOS Architecture in San Francisco and Onion Flats in Philadelphia.
Tyreus holds a Master of Architecture from UCLA and a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia. She taught architecture for several years at Philadelphia University, focusing on sustainable design and construction methodologies.
Her work has been published in The Wall Street Journal, Dwell, AD.COM, ELLEDecor.com, Architectural Record, Livingetc.com, RUE, Sonoma Magazine, and Marin Magazine. TAD was awarded ‘Best of Marin County’ in 2023, 2024.
